How does it work?

Haven of Hope purchases scrip from the "Scrip Center" at a discount and sell them for face value to you.  You use them for places like Kohls, Shopko, Piggly Wiggly, Menards, Shell, American Eagle, Regal Cinemas, BlockBuster,Build-A-Bear …..more than 100 merchants.   

  What does it look like?

It looks like that little “Kohls” or "Olive Garden" gift certificate - the one that looks like a charge card. Others are paper gift certificates.  Each certificate is for a specific store.  These merchants support us by selling their certificates to us at a discount and we, in turn, support them by patronizing their stores.  Simple.  All you need to do is PLAN AHEAD.  If you know you’re going to O'Charley's next week, get some of their certificates and use it to pay the bill.  Half of their 13% contribution will help Haven of Hope, but the other half will help your family pay the tuition for your child. 

When you have your pre-paid order in by Monday at 3:00 p.m. your scrip should be ready for pick up by Friday, possibly even on Thursday.  You will get a “voucher” with your credit amount on it.  YOU MUST KEEP THIS VOUCHER AND TURN IT IN WITH YOUR TUITION BEFORE THE EXPIRATION DATE TO RECEIVE YOUR CREDIT.  No other record of your credit will be kept.  And the vouchers expire, so please watch the expiration dates.  Sound easy?  It is!!
